Overview: The Academic Counsellor - Tele calling plays a critical role in the institution by communicating with prospective students and providing them with information and guidance on academic programs, admission procedures, and courses offered. They play a vital role in the recruitment and enrolment process, contributing to the overall success and growth of the institution.Key Responsibilities:
  • Make outbound calls to prospective students to offer assistance and guidance regarding academic programs and admission criteria
  • Provide information on courses, fees, and scholarships available to interested individuals
  • Assess the needs and requirements of prospective students to offer personalized guidance and support
  • Keep accurate records of all telephonic interactions and document relevant details
  • Assist in scheduling appointments for interested individuals to visit the campus for further information
  • Follow up with potential students to provide additional information and address any queries they may have
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and efficient communication process
  • Conduct market research to identify potential target groups and areas for recruitment
  • Stay updated with the latest information on academic programs, admission requirements, and institutional policies
  • Meet individual and team targets for student enrolment and conversion
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Education, Counseling, or Communication
  • Prior experience in tele-counselling, telemarketing, or customer service roles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and connect with individuals over the phone
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Familiarity with CRM software or Tele-calling systems
  • Proven track record of meeting targets and deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Understanding of educational programs and admission processes
