Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled
Guidewire BillingCenter Developer
with expertise in
integration development
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with
Guidewire BC
, strong technical capabilities in
Gosu
,
Web Services
, and experience working in
Agile
environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement integrations between Guidewire BillingCenter and external/internal systems.
  • Customize Guidewire BC using Gosu scripting and configuration tools to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain SOAP/REST web services, messaging, plugins, and batch processes.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and architects to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment processes.
  • Document technical specifications and integration flows.
  • Work in a hybrid model, coordinating across onshore and offshore teams as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5 to 8 years of IT experience, with at least 3+ years in Guidewire BillingCenter (BC) development.
  • Strong proficiency in Gosu, Java, and integration technologies (REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON).
  • Experience with Guidewire Cloud and/or On-prem deployments.
  • Good understanding of Guidewire Data Model, PCF, Rules, and Messaging framework.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and build tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Guidewire certification (BillingCenter Developer or Integration Specialist) is a plus.
  • Experience integrating with third-party systems such as payment gateways, policy administration systems, or CRM tools.
  • Prior experience in the insurance domain is highly preferred.
