What does a great Quality Assurance Engineering - Sr Professional I do?

  • Understand business requirements and translate them into test cases
  • Work closely with business analysts, developers, and QAs to test software and ensure quality
  • Design and maintain automated test suites.
  • Experience with different QA/defect tracking tools and processes.

What do you do:

  • You will develop, review and execute formal test plans, test cases/scripts to ensure the delivery of quality software applications in a dynamic environment.
  • Participates in application, network, system, functional, regression, and user acceptance testing and ensure traceability from requirements to test cases, document and generate reports and quality related metrics.
  • You will perform technical testing activities include planning, design, scripting, execution, troubleshooting, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with technical and business groups to define testing scope, monitor and execute automation/performance test activities, research new tools and test approaches and involve in their implementation and monitoring.
  • For large projects, monitors and executes automation/performance testing activities.
  • To define the testing scope, you will work with technical and business groups.
  • New tools and testing methodologies should be researched, implemented, and monitored.

What will you need to have:

  • 3+ years experience in Automation and manual testing of Contact Center self-service applications such as Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems, Virtual Assistant, Softphone, Chat, SMS, Email etc. and Salesforce Service Cloud, CRM applications and Case Management tools.
  • Hands on experience in automation tools: Tosca, Empirix Hammer or Cyara and Qtest
  • Knowledge of dev ops tools - Jira, Confluence, Gitlab, Harness etc.
  • Hands on experience in testing REST and SOAP API and web services using Postman, SOAPUI
  • Good knowledge of information systems elements (hardware, software, network) and their application to business functions/processes.
  • Good understanding of the key processes in the business and the business rules that impact the development and/or implementation of information systems.
  • Self-starting and independent comfortable with creating test plans and test scenarios with minimum assistance using application and requirement documentation. Works well with some ambiguity and changing requirements.
  • Drives continuous improvement through all processes, including but not limited to, team standards, test planning, resourcing and test execution, as well as debugging, metric collection, and reporting.

What is great to have:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience and/or Certifications. 6-12 years of related technical experience.
