Role Description

Position: BMS Testing and Validation Engineer (Solar Inverters)

Location: On-site role (Bengaluru)

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a highly skilled
BMS Testing and Validation Engineer
to join our Solar Inverter development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for
testing, validation, and performance analysis
of BMS integrated with solar inverter solutions. This role involves close collaboration with the hardware, firmware, and system design teams to ensure reliability, safety, and efficiency of energy storage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform BMS performance testing and validation as per design standards (charge/discharge cycles, firmware updates, OC alarms & protection).
  • Conduct hybrid inverter testing as per manufacturer specifications and maintain detailed test reports.
  • Carry out battery–inverter integration testing based on customer requirements and document results.
  • Work closely with design, hardware, and firmware teams to define and verify test requirements.
  • Provide after-sales technical support for batteries and inverters.
  • Support onsite testing when required.

Qualifications

  • 1- 3 years of hands-on experience in Solar PV systems, Hybrid Inverters, and LFP Batteries.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.E/B.Tech)
    in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering. or
    Master's degree (M.E/M.Tech)
    in Power Electronics, Electrical, or Energy Systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of
    battery test systems, thermal chambers, and data acquisition tools
    .
  • Familiarity with
    energy storage systems (ESS)

    preferred.
