Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administrative Operations

  • Oversee daily office administration activities within the plant premises.
  • Maintain and manage office supplies, stationery, and housekeeping materials.
  • Handle record-keeping, documentation, and filing systems (manual and digital).
  • Support HR and Finance teams in attendance, payroll inputs, and expense reports.

2. Facility & Infrastructure Management

  • Ensure proper upkeep of plant facilities, utilities, and equipment.
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) with vendors.
  • Monitor security, housekeeping, canteen, and transport services.
  • Manage waste disposal, pest control, and ensure a safe and clean work environment.

3. Vendor & Contract Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors for supplies and services.
  • Prepare purchase requests, issue POs, and track invoice processing.
  • Maintain vendor agreements and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

4. Employee Support & Welfare

  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, and logistics for plant staff and visitors.
  • Support employee engagement activities and welfare initiatives at the plant.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory compliance related to facilities and manpower.

5. Coordination & Reporting

  • Liaise with corporate office for administrative approvals and updates.
  • Prepare reports on administrative expenses, maintenance activities, and plant logistics.
  • Support audits and inspections (safety, compliance, or internal).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate in Business Administration / Management / Commerce.
  • 36 years of experience in plant or facility administration (manufacturing/industrial setup preferred).
  • Strong understanding of facility operations, vendor management, and compliance processes.
