About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead – Cybersecurity Development to spearhead security architecture and development initiatives for embedded systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in C/Embedded C, deep knowledge of cybersecurity development, and proven capability in security architecture design. This is a key technical leadership role responsible for driving secure product development and ensuring compliance with global security standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of cybersecurity solutions for embedded products.
  • Define and review cybersecurity architecture, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  • Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis for embedded platforms.
  • Develop secure firmware/software modules using C and Embedded C.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, product security) to integrate security features.
  • Perform code reviews, security reviews, and provide mentorship to the development team.
  • Implement and validate secure boot, trust chain, cryptographic modules, key management, and secure communication protocols.
  • Support vulnerability mitigation, incident analysis, and continuous improvement of secure development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in C and Embedded C development.
  • 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity development for embedded systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture or system-level security design.
  • Strong understanding of embedded systems, RTOS, microcontrollers, and SoC platforms.
  • Experience in cryptography, secure communication protocols (TLS/DTLS), authentication, and secure coding practices.
  • Familiarity with security compliance frameworks such as ISO 21434, IEC 62443, NIST, or similar (preferred).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in automotive, IoT, industrial, or safety-critical systems.
  • Knowledge of HSM, secure bootloaders, FOTA security, and hardware root-of-trust.
  • Exposure to penetration testing or security testing tools for embedded systems.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
