Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Achieve zero penalties or interest charges incurred due to incorrect or delayed GST, TDS, or TCS return filings.
  • GST Return Filing: Oversee and manage the timely and accurate filing of all required monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns, including GSTR-1 (Outward Supplies) and GSTR-3B (Summary Return).
  • ITC Verification & Reconciliation (CRITICAL): Lead the daily and monthly verification of Input Tax Credit (ITC) claims to ensure strict compliance and perform mandatory GSTR-1 vs. GSTR-3B reconciliation to rectify discrepancies and maintain data consistency.
  • Sales Return Processing: Accurately process GST Sales Returns, ensuring the proper issuance of credit/debit notes and their correct reporting in GSTR-1 to adjust tax liability.
  • E-Compliance Management: Ensure mandatory compliance for B2B transactions, including the management and integration of e-Invoicing
  • Annual Filing: Lead the preparation and filing of the Annual GST Return (GSTR-9)
  • BOM Management: Collaborate with production teams to maintain current and accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and continuously validate the standard costs associated with materials, labor, and overhead.
  • Overhead Allocation: Apply and maintain sophisticated and consistent Manufacturing Overhead Allocation methods (e.g., man-hour rate) to ensure accurate product costing.

C. General Ledger, Statutory, and Audit Management

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and meticulously review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and detailed schedules.
  • Closing Procedures: Manage and execute efficient month-end and year-end financial closings, journal entries, adjustments, and accruals.
  • TDS & TCS: Manage end-to-end compliance for Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) and Tax Collected at Source (TCS), including deposit (Challan 281), quarterly return submission, and certificate generation (Form 16/16A).
  • Audit Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for external Statutory Auditors, managing the audit process efficiently and preparing comprehensive audit schedules and documentation.
