COLD FUSION- Developer

Responsiblities:

1. Innovative Software Development:Utilizecutting-edge software development tools to drive innovation, efficiency, and quality in front-end development.

2. Problem Solving and UX Delivery: Address challenging problems to deliver impactful UX solutions quickly, efficiently, and with high quality.

3. Scalable Systems Architecture: Contribute to the evolution of systems architecture, ensuring scalability with the growing demands of the business.

4. Collaborative Cross-Functional Work: Share knowledge and communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) across the organization to align front-end development with overall business objectives.

5. Problem Identification and Resolution:Analyze, identify, and address problems or bugs to ensure a seamless and error-free user interface.

6. Active Participation in Agile Processes: Engage actively in Agile team meetings, contributing to iterative development processes and adhering to best practices.

7. While this position does not require participation in an official on-call roster, Engineering employees are expected to be available to assist with troubleshooting Severity 1 or Severity 2 production issues as they arise. If contacted, employees should be prepared to respond and provide support, leveraging their domain knowledge and skills to resolve critical incidents.

Coldfusion

• Proficiency in developing web applications using ColdFusion and CFML, with a solid understanding of ColdFusion frameworks (e.g., ColdBox, Fusebox, Mach II).
• Experience in writing and maintaining efficient ColdFusion code, including custom tags and CFCs
• Knowledge of ColdFusion integration with databases, including writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Familiarity with ColdFusion debugging and optimization techniques to improve application performance.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services integration.
• Advanced skills in deploying and managing ColdFusion applications within containerized environments for scalability and portability
• Proficiency in implementing performance optimization techniques for ColdFusion applications
• Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues in existing ColdFusion applications.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to architectural decisions for ColdFusion applications.

Front-End

• Strong JavaScript knowledge Preferably React experience.
• Experience working with TypeScript, React lifecycle, and state management is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with design systems (e.g., Storybook) and component libraries (e.g., Kendo UI) to maintain UX/UI consistency.
• Strong skills in using GraphQL in combination with React for modern stack development.
• Majority of time will be spent contributing to the modern stack (React + GraphQL), but there will be times to contribute to the legacy stack (Angular)
• Familiarity with Webpack and front-end packaging
• Familiarity with form management tools such as React-final-form.

Security

• Advanced understanding of web security principles and best practices, with solid experience in implementing security measures.
• Proficiency in protecting against common vulnerabilities such as SQL injection and XSS attacks, with a focus on maintaining robust security.
• Strong skills in optimizing code, queries, and server configurations for improved performance and scalability.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers on security practices and performance optimization techniques, and contribute to team-wide security strategies.
