Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Vitreo-Retinal (VR) Surgeon to join our ophthalmology department in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing and surgically treating disorders related to the retina, vitreous, and macula.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform advanced retina surgeries including vitrectomy, retinal detachment repair, diabetic retinopathy treatment, etc.

Conduct OCT, FFA, B-scan, and other diagnostic investigations related to retina diseases.

Manage outpatient retina clinics and provide comprehensive retina care.

Handle emergency retina cases efficiently.

Collaborate with other ophthalmologists and eye care professionals for integrated patient care.

Maintain updated patient records and ensure ethical standards of care.

Participate in CMEs, internal audits, and training programs.

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification: MS / DNB Ophthalmology + Fellowship in Vitreo-Retina (mandatory)

Experience: Minimum 1–2 years post fellowship preferred (Freshers with fellowship can also apply)

Registration: Valid Medical Council Registration

Excellent clinical judgment and patient communication

Ability to work independently as well as in a team setup
