Role & responsibilities

  • Prepare and assist in preparation of structural calculations, specifications, detail drawings of project of varying complexity.
  • Perform the finite element analysis modelling and design as per design codes.
  • Performing steel designs as per Eurocodes, IS codes
  • Preparation of detailed structural drawings and review of manufacturing drawings.
  • Prepares and assist in the preparation of quantity estimation,
  • Interdisciplinary coordination with working engineers to ensure designs/3d model meets all stakeholders requirement
  • Review and checks works of Jr. engineers and designers
  • Closely work with Project Civil engineer in chalking out overall delivery schedule and immediate look ahead plans.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience in basic engineering and detailed design of structures for large projects preferably power plants/nuclear power plants.

Candidate should have worked in an engineering office or consultancy of repute performing relevant work. Candidate should have exposure to India, Euro, US and other foreign codes or standards. Candidate should have exposure to 3D model review tools such as Navisworks, ebrowser, Tekla etc. Candidate should be proficient in use of general purpose FE analysis packages such as Staad.Pro, SAP etc. Experience in ANSYS will have added advantage.
