About the Role

Palmonas is looking for a Video Editor who can craft sleek, engaging short-form content that reflects the brand's luxury jewelry aesthetic. The role requires strong pacing, storytelling, clean transitions, and platform-ready variations. You should be proficient in Premiere Pro, organized in your workflow, and able to collaborate smoothly with the creative team. A keen eye for product detail, awareness of editing trends, and a proactive, detail-driven attitude are essential. Basic motion skills and a curiosity to grow in post-production are a plus.

Core Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form videos for social media, campaigns, and paid advertising.

  • Cut and refine footage with strong understanding of pacing, rhythm, and storytelling.

  • Sync audio, add basic sound design, and ensure clean transitions.

  • Create variations of content for different platforms and dimensions.

  • Support the team by assembling rough cuts, selects, and content libraries.

Creative Expectations

  • Develop a good eye for luxury product framing and detail, especially jewelry.

  • Maintain the brand's aesthetic while bringing a fresh, contemporary editing style.

  • Understand how edit choices influence viewer attention and engagement.

  • Stay aware of editing trends relevant to fashion and lifestyle.

Skills and Tools

  • Proficiency in Premiere Pro is required.

  • Familiarity with color correction, stabilization, and cleanup tools.

  • Basic motion skills using After Effects is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Ability to work with different framerates, codecs, and project setups.

Workflow and Collaboration

  • Plan and organize footage efficiently with proper labeling and timelines.

  • Work with creative leads, cinematographers, and motion designers for smooth handoffs.

  • Communicate requirements, challenges, and delivery timelines proactively.

  • Open to feedback and comfortable revising quickly.

Attitude and Fit

  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of visual and editorial judgment.

  • Proactive in suggesting edits that improve story or product appeal.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving brand environment with frequent content needs.
