Housekeeping Attendant

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping GSA is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. The role ensures that all guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay while upholding the 5-star standards of Gokulam Grand Turtle on the Beach, Kovalam.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards.
• Replace linens, towels, and guest supplies daily or as per occupancy.
• Ensure proper use and care of cleaning equipment and materials.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages immediately to the supervisor.
• Replenish amenities and ensure all in-room items are clean, functional, and well-presented.
• Handle guest requests promptly and courteously.
• Follow hygiene and safety guidelines at all times.
• Maintain housekeeping trolleys, storerooms, and equipment in good condition.
• Participate in daily briefings and departmental training sessions.
• Cooperate with other departments to ensure smooth guest service.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum Degree in BHMC or Diploma in Hotel Management preferred.
• 0–3 years of experience in a reputed hotel or resort (freshers may also apply).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and passion for cleanliness.
• Willingness to work in shifts and as part of a team.
