Job Description
We are seeking a Senior HR Executive for our Group company based in Mumbai. The role focuses on end-to-end HR management with primary responsibility for recruitment, complemented by employee engagement, HR operations, compliance, and performance management.
Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience, including at least 3 years in the pharmaceutical industry with significant recruitment exposure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for hiring the right talent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; HR certifications (SHRM/PHR/CHRP) preferred.
  • Proven experience with high-volume hiring, lateral and niche/senior hiring in pharma or related technical domains.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and influencing skills; ability to interact with senior leadership.
  • Hands-on with HRIS/HRMS tools, ATS platforms and strong MS Excel skills for reporting and analytics.

Role Overview
As a Senior HR Executive, you will partner with business leaders to deliver efficient recruitment, ensure smooth HR operations, maintain compliance, and foster a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management and onboarding across levels.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles; maintain candidate pool and succession plans.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and create clear job descriptions while ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Implement best practices and metrics (time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, source effectiveness) to continuously improve recruitment outcomes.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee HR policies, procedures and ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements; support audits and inspections.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRMS and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate payroll-related information, leave management and statutory filings in collaboration with payroll vendors/teams.

Employee Engagement & Relations

  • Design and execute engagement initiatives to strengthen employee morale and retention, including surveys and action plans.
  • Address employee queries, manage grievances and facilitate conflict resolution in line with policy.
  • Support learning & development coordination and employee communication programs to drive adoption and culture.

Performance Management

  • Support performance appraisal processes, goal setting and talent reviews; ensure timelines and calibration processes are followed.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans, career development and succession planning.
