Position: Director - School of Data Science

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to head the School of Data Science.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: Master's Degree with Ph.D. in Statistics/ Mathematics.
  • Experience:
  • 10-15 years of teaching experience at UG/PG levels, with at least 7 years as a Professor post-Ph.D.
  • HoD experience is mandatory.
  • Strong research background with publications in reputed journals.
  • Experience in formulating research policies and implementing academic audit and accreditation processes.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of industry experience to bridge academia and industry, ensuring the integration of practical insights into academic programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic and strategic leadership to the School of Data Science.
  • Foster research and innovation, driving high-quality publications and funded projects.
  • Develop and implement cutting-edge curricula aligned with industry trends in data science, AI, and analytics.
  • Build strong industry collaborations for research, internships, and student placements.
  • Ensure excellence in teaching, faculty development, and institutional growth.
  • Drive compliance with UGC and accreditation standards.

The ideal candidate should have proven leadership skills, a strong research orientation, and a passion for advancing the field of Data Science through education, innovation, and industry partnerships.
