Required Skills & Qualifications

● Proficiency in Flutter and Dart, with strong understanding of state management (e.g., Provider, Riverpod, Bloc).

● Experience developing for Android TV or Set-Top Boxes — understanding of remote focus navigation, Lean back guidelines, and large-screen UI optimization.

● Good knowledge of Android platform services, such as Intents, Content Providers, and background tasks.

● Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling JSON-based CMS data structures.

● Familiarity with video streaming frameworks (ExoPlayer, DRM integrations, HLS/DASH formats).

● Knowledge of Android Voice Search and Assistant integration.

● Understanding of TV-safe UI design, focus indicators, and theme customization.

● Experience with Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) or other notification systems for alerts.

● Familiarity with DRM and OTT security mechanisms (Widevine, PlayReady) is a plus.

● Experience in app publishing, signing, and deployment for Android TV and custom device

Preferred (Good to Have)

● Experience with platform channels to bridge Flutter with native Android code.

● Understanding of EPG (Electronic Program Guide), local broadcast APIs, and channel integration.

● Background in media apps, OTT platforms, or Smart TV environments.

● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for TV app deployment.

● Understanding of user personalization, favorites, and analytics trackin

Soft Skills

● Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

● Ability to work independently and deliver within deadlines.

● Collaborative mindset to work with CMS backend and UI/UX teams.

● Attention to detail in designing responsive, intuitive, and accessible TV experience
