Roles and Responsibilities :

Study the project contract documents (time schedule, project design drawings, BOQ, Specification etc.) and assignment drawings.

  1. Preparation of project specific Design Basis Report to get approval from clients.
  2. Modelling, Analysis and Design of Steel structures of all Boiler Supporting structures using STAAD Pro-connected version.
  3. Knowledge is required on all latest IS codal provisions.
  4. Structural Connection Design
  5. Foundation Load Data Calculations
  6. Steel stack design along with its supporting structure, Platform and Foundation details
  7. Duct and Duct supports analysis
  8. Knowledge in International Structural steel materials
  9. Lateral thinking and knowledge in strengthening of existing structural with optimum sizing.
  10. Familiarity in International Structural design Codes
  11. Review of structural drawings with respect to design calculations & layout.
  12. Preparation / checking of steel Material Take off (MTO).
  13. Handle and supervise the Draftsmen activities and ensure right deliverable.
  14. Coordinating with internal team members and vendors, ensuring on time submission of deliverables.
  15. Checking and approval of all vendor design and drawings.
  16. Ensuring Compliance with Safety and Quality standards of the company.
  17. Taking complete responsibility of design and drawing deliverables.
  18. Knowledge in supporting proposal level estimation.
  19. Complete support to team for any drawing related clarification and required solution on site related problems.
  20. Attending and project related meetings and participate in solving/reporting any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise during construction to the site in-charge for discussion and proper solution.
  21. Familiar with in place, lifting & transport analysis of Skids/Modular structures as per codes etc.
