Role Overview:

The Assistant Professor will be part of the Sports Science, Sports Technology, and Sports Analytics.

The role involves teaching undergraduate students, assisting in research, and contributing to athlete testing, performance analysis, and laboratory operations under the guidance of senior faculty.

Key Responsibilities:


• Deliver lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in the domains of sports science, sports analytics, and technology.


• Assist in athlete performance analysis using modern tools and technologies.


• Support ongoing research projects, publications, and student mentoring.


• Handle and maintain laboratory equipment (biomechanics, physiology, and analytics labs).


• Collaborate with coaches, physiotherapists, and data analysts for integrated athlete development.


• Participate in academic and co-curricular activities, including sports fests, workshops, and outreach programs.


• Contribute to curriculum development and academic innovation aligned with SSER's vision.


• Ensure adherence to academic and ethical standards in teaching and research.

Desired Qualifications:


• Master's Degree (M.Sc in Sports Science / Exercise Physiology / Biomechanics / Sports Technology / Sports Analytics / Sports Data Science )


• Ph.D. (Preferred but not mandatory for fresher entry-level role).


• Candidates with strong academic grounding and passion for research in sports science are encouraged to apply.


• Freshers with good technical, analytical, and presentation skills are welcome.


• Familiarity with data analysis tools (Excel, SPSS, Kinovea, Dartfish, or similar) is advantageous.
