Sr Team Member - Cloud Technologies:

Overview: We are seeking a skilledAzure Cloud Administrator and Architect to join our dynamic team. The idealcandidate will have a strong background in Azure cloud technologies, architecture design, and administration. This role involves both strategicplanning and hands-on technical skills to ensure smooth operation andoptimization of our Azure cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure Management:

• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and services.

• Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and availability.
• Implement best practices for cloud security and compliance.
• Implement and manage Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Azure AD, Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery, and Azure Networking.
• Configure and troubleshoot Azure networking components including VNets, NSGs, VPNs, and ExpressRoute.

• Work closely with development, security, and operations teams to support cloud deployments and resolve issues.

• Architecture Design:

• Architect scalable and resilient cloud solutions on Azure.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and propose cloud-based solutions.

• Design for high availability, disaster recovery, and efficient resource utilization.

• Cloud Native Tools:

• Administer Azure App Services, Azure API Management (APIM), and Azure Functions to support scalable application deployments.

• Configure and manage Azure Blob Storage for archival, backup, and enterprise data storage needs.
• Monitor and support Azure Application Gateway, Azure Front Door, and Load Balancers.
• Implement RBAC, Identity and Access Management, and MFA policies through Azure AD.
• Utilize monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Network Watcher for performance tuning and issue resolution.

• Ensure business continuity using Azure Backup, Site Recovery, and Availability Sets/Zones.

• Automation and Scripting:

• Automate routine tasks and workflows using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other scripting languages.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as ARM templates,

• Terraform, or Ansible.

• Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

• Provide technical support for Azure cloud services and resolve infrastructure issues.

• Perform root cause analysis for problems and implement preventive measures.

• Documentation and Training:

• Document architecture diagrams, procedures, and policies.

• Conduct training sessions for IT staff and end-users on Azure cloud technologies.

• Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.

• Cost optimization

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to reduce unwanted workload.

• Gain visibility and draw cost insights using monitoring and analytics.
• Maximize the efficiency of your cloud environment.
• Provision resources that are optimized for cost.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Administrator or Architect, with in-depth knowledge of Azure services.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles (scalability, high availability, performance optimization).
• Experience with Azure networking, security, and identity management (Azure AD, RBAC).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates).
• Certification in Azure (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
