Primary Skill:
Playwright with Javascript / Java, CI/CD and API Automation (All are Mandatory skills)

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced
Playwright Tester / Lead
to join Cognizant Healthcare QA team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in develop and maintain Automation Scripts: Create robust, reusable, and maintainable automated test scripts using
Playwright
(JavaScript/TypeScript preferred).

Required kills:

• Engineering / bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification with minimum 4-10 years of relevant hands-on experience in Testing field.
• Must have minimum 4+ years of experience in Playwright development.
• Hands on experience in SQL query writing is required.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript is must.
• Knowledge / Hands on experience in Python development experience is good to have.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with API Automation testing tools liked Rest Assured or any equivalent tool is must
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Maintain Automation Scripts: Create robust, reusable, and maintainable automated test scripts using
  Playwright
  (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred).
• Test Planning: Design and implement test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
• CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely delivery.
• Defect Management: Identify, log, and track software defects; assist in root cause analysis and debugging.
• Cross-Browser Testing: Ensure compatibility across multiple browsers and platforms.
• Best Practices: Advocate for automation best practices and maintain test documentation.
• Knowledge of cloud-based test execution platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).
• Familiarity with performance and security testing concepts.
