
Salesforce Practice Architect

- Establish and lead the Salesforce Practice Architect, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy and technology roadmap.
- Define, implement, and enforce Salesforce best practices, governance, and standards for development, deployment, and ongoing management of Salesforce solutions.
- Lead a cross-functional team of Salesforce leads, developers, administrators, and business analysts to drive the successful execution of Salesforce initiatives.
- Collaborate with business leaders and IT teams to understand business needs, translate them into Salesforce solutions, and ensure that Salesforce optimally supports business processes.
- Promote continuous improvement by driving innovation, enhancing the adoption of Salesforce solutions, and ensuring the platform evolves to meet changing business requirements.
- Oversee the development and execution of a Salesforce training and enablement program for internal stakeholders to improve overall platform expertise across the organization.
- Define and monitor COE KPIs and metrics to track the performance and impact of Salesforce solutions, identifying areas for optimization.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on Salesforce platform features and capabilities, providing guidance to teams and leadership on the best use of the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Manage the Salesforce COE's resources, budget, and timeline, ensuring effective utilization of resources and adherence to project delivery timelines.
- Drive integration initiatives between Salesforce and other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Salesforce, external partners, and other technology vendors, to ensure ongoing platform success and innovation.
- Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new Salesforce features, capabilities, and processes across the organization.
- Ensure security, compliance, and governance standards are met in all Salesforce solutions, including managing releases and data integrity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 20+ years of experience in Salesforce administration, development, and architecture.
- Proven experience leading or managing a Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE) or similar Salesforce-focused team in a large or complex organization.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce products (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.), platform capabilities, and integration methods.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in mentoring and developing Salesforce professionals.
- Expertise in Salesforce governance, security, release management, and deployment strategies.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business requirements into Salesforce solutions that drive value.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in other cloud technologies and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of AI, machine learning, and automation tools within the Salesforce ecosystem, such as Salesforce Einstein and MuleSoft.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management tools.
- Previous experience with change management, digital transformation, or large-scale technology initiatives.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to drive innovation and adapt Salesforce solutions to meet evolving business needs.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Passion for continuous learning, technology, and Salesforce innovation.
- Highly collaborative, able to work cross-functionally with teams and business leaders to drive success.
