Pega System Architect

We are looking for a highly skilled Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) to join our healthcare project team. The candidate must have strong hands-on experience in Pega PRPC and a proven background in building payment integration solutions within healthcare applications. This offshore role requires deep technical expertise, strong solution design skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Pega applications focusing on healthcare payment workflows and integrations.
- Work with business teams to translate payment requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Implement and optimize payment gateway integrations, transaction processing, and reconciliation flows.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and security standards for payment data.
- Lead offshore development efforts and mentor junior developers on best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, perform unit testing, and support SIT/UAT activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Pega components and payment modules.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Pega PRPC development.
- Pega Certified Senior System Architect (SSA) is mandatory.
- Strong experience in payment integration (gateways, APIs, transaction workflows).
- Solid understanding of US healthcare domain (claims, billing, provider/patient payments).
- Expertise in Pega integrations using SOAP/REST services and connectors.
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards (HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
