Sree Hanuman Builders is seeking a skilled and proactive Site Engineer specializing in residential construction to manage and oversee projects at various sites across Chennai. The Site Engineer will ensure that residential projects are executed efficiently, safely, and according to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the residential construction sector and be able to manage the technical and supervisory aspects of on-site work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of Residential Projects: Manage day-to-day site operations for residential projects, ensuring construction activities align with the schedule, budget, and design specifications.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure that all construction meets the required standards, plans, and client expectations.
  • Site Coordination: Coordinate with architects, contractors, laborers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth on-site workflow and timely project completion.
  • Material and Resource Management: Oversee material procurement, usage, and inventory control to ensure efficient site operations and minimize wastage.
  • Safety Management: Enforce safety regulations and protocols on-site, ensuring compliance with local safety standards and company policies.
  • Progress Reporting: Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for senior management, documenting construction progress, challenges, and milestones.
  • Problem Solving: Address any technical issues or discrepancies that arise during the construction process, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
  • Compliance with Regulations: Ensure that all construction activities comply with local building codes, CMDA norms, and relevant residential construction regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience as a Site Engineer with a focus on residential construction.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of Residential Construction: Proven experience with residential projects, including villas, apartments, or housing developments.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to lead on-site teams and manage contractors, laborers, and project workflows.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients, architects, and contractors effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and safety, ensuring all construction work is carried out to the highest standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of CMDA norms and local building codes for residential construction.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
