Responsibilities- Supervise and lead a team of mechanical technicians in conducting preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on mining equipment and machinery
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency
- Coordinate with the engineering team to plan and execute equipment upgrades and modifications
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and Adani's operational standards
- Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and equipment to support maintenance activities
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize overall mine productivity
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
- Certification in Mechanical Maintenance or similar field is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within the Coal Mining industry
- Demonstrated experience in leading and supervising a team of technicians
- Proven track record of implementing maintenance schedules and ensuring equipment reliability
- Proficiency in maintenance practices specific to coal mining equipment
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Experience with maintenance planning software
