Position Overview

The Professor will lead academic and research initiatives in their area of expertise, contribute to curriculum development, mentor students and faculty, and uphold the institutions academic standards. The role demands a commitment to teaching, research, and administrative leadership to advance the institutions mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, fostering critical thinking and academic excellence.
  • Conduct cutting-edge research, publish in peer-reviewed or UGC-CARE listed journals, and contribute significantly to the field.
  • Mentor doctoral candidates and junior faculty, guiding them in research and academic development.
  • Lead academic administration, including program coordination, curriculum design, and academic planning.
  • Secure research grants, conduct executive education programs, or lead consultancy assignments to enhance institutional impact.
  • Participate in institutional committees, contribute to policy development, and promote interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Engage in community outreach, industry partnerships, and knowledge dissemination activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Educational Background: Ph.D. in a relevant field with consistently excellent academic records.

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of teaching, research, or industry experience , at least 4 years at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent.

  • Research Output: Minimum of 10 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-CARE listed journals, demonstrating significant contributions to the field.
  • Mentorship and Leadership: Proven track record of mentoring doctoral candidates, leading academic administration, and contributing to curriculum design and academic planning.
  • Additional Advantages: Experience in securing research grants, conducting executive education, or leading consultancy assignments is highly desirable.
