Job Title: Senior Java Developer (Spring Boot Migration)

Experience: 6+ Years

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to support our ongoing migration from Spring MVC to Spring Boot. The role involves modernizing existing applications, transitioning JSP to Thymeleaf, enhancing backend and frontend components, and ensuring efficient deployments using Bamboo and GitLab. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Java, PLSQL, and containerized deployments while delivering scalable, high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Migrate legacy applications from Spring MVC to Spring Boot.
  • Transition UI from JSP to Thymeleaf.
  • Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and PLSQL.
  • Enhance front-end functionality using JavaScript.
  • Integrate and optimize Jasper Reports.
  • Implement unit testing with Mockito to maintain code quality.
  • Manage deployments in containerized environments using Docker.
  • Oversee CI/CD pipelines with Bamboo and GitLab.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, maintainable applications.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC.
  • Hands-on experience with PLSQL, JSP, and Thymeleaf.
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript for frontend enhancements.
  • Experience with Jasper Reports integration.
  • Proficiency in Docker, GitLab, and Bamboo.
  • Expertise in unit testing with Mockito.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹30, ₹40,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 18 – 20 per week
