Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Progress Developer to work on the backend of our ERP system for the Manufacturing and Construction industries. The ideal candidate should have experience in Progress ABL, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and working with Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend features of the ERP system.
- Work with Progress ABL and follow Object-Oriented Programming principles.
- Write and maintain unit tests and fix defects.
- Integrate and develop REST APIs.
- Work in an Agile development environment.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 4-5 years of experience as a software developer.
- Strong knowledge of Progress ABL and Progress DB.
- Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in Progress.
- Knowledge of REST APIs.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL is a plus.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
