Role Overview

As a 
Prompt Engineer
 on our Capacity team, you'll shape the intelligence layer of our AI Tutor and Simulation Lab. You'll design prompts, reasoning flows, and content logic that help the AI explain physics concepts in clear, human ways.

This isn't just prompt writing; it's about 
teaching AI how to teach
. You'll bridge the worlds of language, pedagogy, and technology to make learning feel personal, accurate, and inspiring.

Key Responsbilities

  • Design and optimize prompts that enable AI tutors to deliver step-by-step academic reasoning.
  • Create structured frameworks for conversational learning — from conceptual Q&A to simulation feedback.
  • Collaborate with 
    AI Engineers
     and 
    Product Managers
     to align AI reasoning with real-world physics learning.
  • Curate high-quality academic content and textbooks for training and grounding.
  • Evaluate model responses for accuracy, engagement, and clarity.
  • Document and evolve internal prompt libraries and reasoning strategies.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3–5 years of experience in 
    prompt engineering, NLP, or content design.
  • Hands-on work with 
    LLMs (GPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.)
    .
  • Curious, detail-driven, and comfortable blending creativity with logic.
