Om Plastics is seeking a skilled Injection Molding Engineer to oversee and optimize our plastic molding processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in mold setup, process optimization, troubleshooting, and quality control to ensure efficient production of high-quality plastic components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mold Setup & Operation Install, adjust, and maintain injection molds and machines.
  • Process Optimization – Fine-tune machine parameters for efficiency, quality, and minimal waste.
  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance – Identify and resolve defects, reduce downtime, and improve production efficiency.
  • Quality Control – Ensure all molded products meet company standards and customer specifications.
  • Material Handling – Select and manage appropriate raw materials for injection molding processes.
  • Production Monitoring – Track and analyze production performance, ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Collaboration – Work closely with design, production, and quality teams to improve processes and output.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical, Plastics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in injection molding, tool setting, and process optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of molding machines, tools, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with thermoplastics, resin properties, and material behavior.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and production tracking software.
