Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Principal Product Manager – AI (Platform & Growth) to lead the development and expansion of HighLevel's AI product suite. You will oversee a portfolio of AI initiatives, drive the vision, strategy, growth and execution of AI capabilities across the platform. This is a high-impact, hands-on role suited for someone passionate about shaping cutting-edge AI products in a fast-growing SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Vision:
- Define and articulate the vision and strategy for HighLevel's AI product suite, aligned with business objectives.
- Shape the overall HighLevel AI strategy and serve as a thought leader with org-wide influence.
- Identify market opportunities and translate them into product roadmaps grounded in user value, ethics, and market trends.
Product Planning and Roadmap:
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle—from ideation and proof-of-concept to scaling and optimization.
- Lead 0-to-1 initiatives and guide products through growth phases with agility, customer insight, and long-term market positioning.
- Ensure AI products are developed and deployed responsibly, incorporating principles of AI ethics, compliance, transparency, and fairness.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, data, marketing, support, and GTM teams for seamless delivery and execution.
Requirements Definition:
- Conduct user research, interviews, and data analysis to gather insights and identify pain points.
- Translate user needs into clear and actionable product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Product Development and Launch:
- Collaborate with engineering, design, GTM, and support teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
- Plan and execute product launches, creating go-to-market strategies, coordinating marketing efforts, and driving user adoption and engagement.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Regularly communicate product strategy, decisions, milestones, and insights to stakeholders and executives.
- Provide guidance to teams working across functions and divisions, ensuring organizational alignment.
- Be the subject matter expert on AI use cases, product development, and market fit across the org.
Performance Monitoring and Analysis:
Define, measure, and track key product and business metrics to evaluate performance and inform future strategy.
Core KPIs of the role - Increase the adoption of AI products & revenue.
Gather and analyze user feedback, competitive trends, and internal insights to evolve the product direction.
- Play a key role in IPO readiness by ensuring HighLevel's AI strategy supports differentiation, scalability, and market positioning.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record in building and scaling AI-powered products.
- Demonstrated success in leading 0-to-1 launches and driving iterative growth.
- Deep familiarity with AI technologies such as LLMs, NLP, ML models, agent builders, and chat/voice bots.
- Understanding of how AI integrates into SaaS environments and how SaaS ecosystems work.
- SaaS background is highly recommended.
- Strong track record in leading cross-functional teams in agile environments.
- Excellent product sense, analytical skills, and communication capabilities.
