The
Software Solutions Architect
is a critical mid-to-senior level role responsible for designing and guiding the development of robust, scalable, and secure software systems. This individual bridges the gap between complex business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring that the chosen architectural approach aligns with the company's strategic goals and technological standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architectural Design:
    Design, document, and oversee the implementation of end-to-end software solutions, including system components, APIs, databases, and deployment infrastructure.
  • Technology Evaluation:
    Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and patterns to improve system performance, maintainability, and security.
  • Technical Leadership:
    Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, helping them implement the architecture according to specifications and best practices.
  • Requirements Analysis:
    Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate complex business needs into technical specifications and architectural blueprints.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Ensure the architecture is scalable, high-performing, reliable, and secure, participating in code reviews and defining quality standards.
  • Roadmapping & Strategy:
    Assist in defining the long-term technical roadmap and strategy for application development, focusing on modernization and technological debt reduction.
  • Risk Management:
    Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with the solution design and implementation process.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience:
    3 to 8 years
    of professional experience in software development, with at least
    2 years
    in an architectural or lead development role.
  • Education:
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Programming Proficiency:
    Strong proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript).
  • Architectural Knowledge:
    In-depth understanding of
    Microservices
    ,
    Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
    ,
    Event-Driven Architecture
    , and modern design patterns.
  • Cloud Platforms:
    Hands-on experience designing and deploying solutions on at least one major cloud provider (e.g.,
    AWS, Azure, or GCP
    ).
  • Data Expertise:
    Experience with various database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling best practices.
  • DevOps/CI/CD:
    Familiarity with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
