Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled WordPress/Shopify Frontend Developer to design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performing websites and e-commerce stores. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with WordPress, Shopify, frontend development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular optional), and a good understanding of UI/UX best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and Shopify stores.
  • Build responsive and cross-browser compatible frontends using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind, etc.).
  • Implement and manage Shopify Liquid templates and WordPress custom post types.
  • Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and performance.
  • Collaborate with designers and backend developers to translate UI/UX wireframes into functional websites.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing WordPress/Shopify websites.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and plugins.
  • Ensure security, scalability, and mobile responsiveness of websites.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a WordPress and Shopify Developer.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
  • Experience with Shopify Liquid, WordPress themes & plugins.
  • Familiarity with frontend frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind, React/Angular – a plus).
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, website optimization, and analytics tools.
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with WooCommerce, Shopify Plus.
  • Basic knowledge of PHP, MySQL for WordPress customizations.
  • Hands-on with Git/GitHub version control.
  • Knowledge of Figma/Adobe XD to convert designs into code.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
