Project Manager / MEP Engineer

Job Purpose:

To supervise, coordinate, and monitor all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works at the project site, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, safety standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, coordinate, and monitor all MEP works (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, HVAC).
• Review drawings, specifications, and method statements to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Oversee daily MEP site activities and ensure execution as per approved drawings and standards.
• Monitor subcontractors work for quality, progress, and safety compliance.
• Ensure materials and workmanship are as per project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Conduct inspections for MEP works and maintain QA/QC documentation.
• Monitor manpower allocation, productivity, and work progress.
• Ensure proper delivery, storage, and handling of MEP materials and equipment.
• Enforce health, safety, and environment (HSE) regulations at site.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project managers for inspections and approvals.
• Attend progress and technical meetings to update on MEP activities.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and highlight delays or issues.
• Supervise pre-commissioning and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Ensure proper handover of MEP systems with complete documentation and as-built drawings.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in MEP supervision, preferably in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP drawings, standards, and codes.
• Proficiency in site coordination and contractor management.
• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and quality procedures.
