Job Description – Sr. Fitter - Machine Tools (Special Perpouse Machines (SPM))

Salary: 30,000 to 35,000 CTC + Overtime (extra) or negotiable depending on skill

Location: Ludhiana

Qualification: 12th, ITI, or equivalent with relevant experience

Experience: 12–14 years in machine tool work

Responsibilities:

Study and interpret engineering drawings

Perform scrapping work with precision

Work with jigs and fixtures for machine assembly

Ensure proper alignment during machine fitting

Handle and maintain power pack systems

Guide and supervise fitters and support staff in daily operations

Requirements:

Strong practical knowledge of machine tool fitting and assembling

Ability to lead a team with responsibility and discipline

Hands-on problem-solving skills in fitting and alignment
