Skills And Competencies
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in payroll accounting, reconciliation and audit compliance in a multinational environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, the ability to understand the impact of payroll activity on financial statements, and the ability to partner with the Finance team to resolve issues as they arise
- Proven experience in global payroll accounting, including journal entry posting, GL mapping, and reconciliations.
- Well experience in statutory reconciliations across multiple regions (EMEA, APAC, LATAM, USA), including Net Pay vs. GL vs. statutory payments.
- Sound understanding and execution of internal audits, SOX controls, and external audits (e.g., KPMG, Deloitte, E&Y) specifically focused on payroll operations.
- Ability to manage monthly payroll reports for accounting teams globally, including cost center breakdowns, commission, severance, taxes, and other benefits etc.
- Experience with CloudPay, ADP and other payroll systems, including end to end payroll processing, pay code creation, GL mapping, and reconciliation automation would be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); additional EMEA languages are preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas), and experience with ERP systems like SAP, Workday or SuccessFactors is preferred.
- Flexible and willing to work across multiple time zones.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Good Knowledge of international payroll regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
- Experience working in audit-heavy environments, especially those subject to SOX or external statutory audits and Familiarity with audit dashboards and PBC documentation processes.
Responsibilities
As part of the Global Payroll Team, you will contribute to the ongoing development of the global Finance strategy. Supporting business growth in an increasingly regulated environment whilst ensuring payroll and tax are compliant across the region.
The Payroll Analyst will have the responsibility for ensuring that all post payroll reporting, monthly payroll accounting and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy of Net Pay, statutory payments, and GL entries, ensuring all payroll audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly post payroll reportings, payroll accounting and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy of Net Pay, statutory payments, and GL entries.
- Create and maintain pay codes and GL mappings in CloudPay, ensuring alignment with accounting requirements.
- Generate and deliver other monthly payroll reports including cost center breakdowns, severance, commission, Bonus, tax, and other benefits across regions.
- Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of all payroll statutory liabilities vs. payments including Social Securites, Insurance, Taxes, and other applicable components.
- Collaborate with accounting teams to resolve payroll-related queries and ensure timely reporting.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits (Statutory Audit, SOX, KPMG) by preparing audit schedules and responding to audit queries related to Payroll.
- Maintain and update payroll SOPs, ensuring alignment with audit and compliance standards.
- Coordinate and support internal audits, SOX control reviews, and statutory audits including KPMG PBC submissions.
- Collaborate with payroll vendors and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate data processing and issue resolution.
- Maintain confidential records and ensure data integrity in all payroll systems.
- Continuously monitor payroll processes and propose improvements for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
