WordPress Developer

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced WordPress Backend Developer to build, maintain, and optimize custom plugins, APIs, and backend logic for our WordPress-based platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong PHP skills, a deep understanding of WordPress architecture, and experience working with REST APIs, database optimization, and custom plugin development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress plugins,Themes and backend modules.
• Work with WordPress REST API and create custom API endpoints.
• Optimize WordPress database queries for performance and scalability.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services securely within WordPress.
• Implement custom post types, taxonomies, meta fields, and shortcodes.
• Ensure code quality following WordPress Coding Standards (PHPCS).
• Debug, test, and resolve performance and security issues.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to connect UI with backend logic.
• Maintain version control using Git and participate in code reviews.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and WordPress Core.
• Experience developing custom plugins and REST APIs.
• Good understanding of WordPress hooks, filters, and actions.
• Knowledge of WP_Query, wpdb, and database schema.
• Familiarity with JavaScript/jQuery for integration-level tasks.
• Experience with Composer,and Git workflows.
• Understanding of security best practices and data sanitization.
• Basic understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and frontend integration.
• Familiarity with WooCommerce or custom booking systems (a plus).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8, ₹25,000.00 per month
