Systems Analyst 3-Support

As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services. A primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.

We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead the end-to-end design and technical governance of the platform. This role combines Oracle APEX–based application architecture, cloud automation, CI/CD, and API-driven integrations on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The architect will define scalable, secure, and reusable platform architectures while guiding development and DevOps teams to deliver enterprise-grade automation and AI-assisted capabilities.

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will interface with the customer's IT staff on a regular basis. Either at the client's site or from a remote location, you will be responsible for resolution of moderately complex technical problems related to the installation, recommended maintenance and use and repair/workarounds for Oracle products. You should be highly experienced in some Oracle products and several platforms that are being supported. You will be expected to work with only general guidance from management while advising management on progress/status.

Architecture & Platform Design

• Own the overall architecture , covering APEX applications, automation engines, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and integrations
• Define reference architectures, design patterns, and blueprints for provisioning, migration, operations, and AI-assisted automation
• Ensure solutions are scalable, modular, secure, and reusable
• Review, validate, and approve solution designs across teams

Oracle APEX & Application Architecture

• Lead design of Oracle APEX applications including multi-tenant, role-based, and performance-optimized implementations
• Define standards for APEX UI, PL/SQL APIs, data models, and ORDS-based REST services
• Integrate APEX with OCI services, Oracle Database, and external systems using REST APIs

Automation, DevOps & CI/CD

• Architect automation-first, blueprint-driven solutions
• Define CI/CD strategies using Jenkins and Git-based repositories
• Ensure automation pipelines are idempotent, repeatable, environment-agnostic, and production-ready
• Guide Terraform, Jenkins, and scripting implementations across teams

Infrastructure as Code & Cloud Architecture

• Define standards for Terraform module design, state management, and environment separation
• Architect OCI-based solutions including compartments, IAM, networking, compute, storage, and databases (ADB, DBCS, ExaCS)
• Design for high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery
• Guide integrations with OCI Vault, Monitoring, Logging, Ops Insights, and OEM

API, Integration & Backend Automation

• Design and govern REST API–based integrations across (APEX, OCI, external systems)
• Define API standards for security, versioning, error handling, and observability
• Architect backend automation and orchestration using Python, OCI SDKs, and REST APIs

Security, Governance & Compliance

• Embed security-by-design principles including IAM least privilege, secrets management, and secure APIs
• Ensure auditability, traceability, and compliance with enterprise standards
• Review security findings and guide remediation across platform components

AI-Assisted & Intelligent Automation

• Define architecture for AI-assisted sizing, recommendations, and rule-based decision engines
• Guide integration of AI capabilities into APEX UI and automation workflows with governance and explainability

• 10+ years of experience in solution architecture or senior engineering roles
• Strong hands-on expertise with Oracle APEX and PL/SQL
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Strong understanding of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles
• CI/CD architecture experience using Jenkins
• Strong programming experience with Python
• Deep understanding of REST APIs, ORDS, and system integrations
• Experience designing enterprise-scale, automation-heavy platforms
