Role OverviewKforce is seeking high-caliber Java Developers with advanced skills in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. The role demands engineers who can handle complex, scenario-driven challenges, debug production issues, and design solutions with scalability and performance in mind.Candidates must demonstrate mastery of fundamental software concepts such as multithreading, caching, exception handling, design patterns, and system performance optimization while being comfortable in on-premise enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
  • Solve scenario-based coding challenges using strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
  • Implement and optimize multithreading and concurrency controls for high-throughput applications.
  • Integrate and manage caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis, Ehcache) to optimize performance.
  • Troubleshoot and debug production issues across application, logging, and monitoring layers.
  • Implement observability practices using AppDynamics (APM) and ELK stack (ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana).
  • Work in on-prem environments (data center stack, enterprise middleware) with comfort in Unix CLI and scripting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SDET, DevOps, QA, Product) to deliver production-ready software.

Required Skills

  • Core Java (advanced) data structures, collections, multithreading, concurrency, exception handling.
  • Spring Boot hands-on microservices development and deployment.
  • Caching frameworks – Redis, Ehcache or equivalent.
  • Monitoring & Logging – AppDynamics, ELK stack.
  • On-premise enterprise stack – deployments, configuration, performance tuning.
  • Strong SQL/NoSQL querying skills for debugging and validation.
  • Proficiency with Unix commands & CLI troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

  • Event-driven and streaming frameworks (Kafka, WebFlux).
  • CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git).
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
