The Role

In this Project Management role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our customers' IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing their systems to ensure consistent, peak performance. The position requires close interaction with the Account Team and customers, and familiarity with Japanese work culture will be a strong advantage.

Your key responsibilities include:

Project Leadership
  • Drive end-to-end project delivery, including scope, cost, schedule, and contractual commitments.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication plans with stakeholders and clients.
Cloud & Technical Expertise
  • Manage projects involving cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
  • Ensure compliance with security, resiliency, and operational standards.
Operational Management
  • Oversee project operations, including resource allocation, vendor coordination, and risk mitigation.
  • Implement best practices that enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, and overall project performance.
Cross-Cultural Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with Japanese clients and teams, ensuring smooth communication, cultural alignment, and appropriate language usage.
  • Support governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement tailored to Japanese business practices.

Required Professional Experience
  • Mini 8 Years Experience
  • Proven experience in Project Management at a senior level
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP/Prince2) and Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Strong understanding of IT operations, risk management, and change control processes.
  • Fluency in Japanese (spoken and written) and familiarity with Japanese work culture.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multi-functional teams across geographies.
  • Experience in disaster recovery planning, automation, and hybrid cloud operations.
  • Experience working on live projects with a strong understanding of customer requirements on the go.
  • Proficient in handling incidents, problems, and changes (L1, L2, L3).
  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of IT environments.
  • Effective communication skills with stakeholders in Japan and India.
  • Ability to create work plans, coordinate tasks with stakeholders, draft/review procedures, investigate issues, and execute change implementations.
  • Ability to create and test implementation plans and analyze execution results.

### Preferred Professional Experience
- Prior experience working in hybrid cross-country environments involving Japan and India.
- Experience in managing all types of priorities (L1, L2, L3) within daily BAU operations (if not considered mandatory).
- Additional exposure to automation, cloud-native tools, or advanced DR strategies.
- Experience collaborating with multi-functional teams in complex enterprise ecosystems.
