Role Overview

The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving customer acquisition and business development in the Supply Chain Finance (SCF) domain. This role focuses on mid-size, emerging, and SME clients, leveraging strong financial understanding to structure trade finance solutions.


Key Responsibilities

· Identify and acquire SME, mid-size, and emerging business clients for SCF products.

· Understand clients' business, cash flows, and balance sheets to recommend suitable financing solutions.

· Lead end-to-end sales process including client onboarding, documentation, and deal closure.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with finance, accounts, and business decision-makers at client organizations.

· Collaborate with internal Credit, Operations, and Product teams to ensure smooth onboarding and execution.

· Track sales pipeline, forecast business, and report performance metrics to the management.

· Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and regulatory requirements in SCF.


Skills & Competencies

· Strong understanding of Supply Chain Finance, SME/mid-market lending, and trade finance.

· Ability to analyze balance sheets, financial statements, and documentation.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

· Result-oriented with strong sales acumen and ability to meet targets.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.


Experience & Education

· Experience: 3–5 years in Supply Chain Finance or Trade Finance sales, preferably covering SME, mid-size, or emerging businesses.

· Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields. MBA preferred but not mandatory.
