Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead food ingredient presentations and cooking demos specifically for restaurant owners, chefs, and F&B decision-makers.
  • Strategically pitch proprietary food products to restaurant clients, showcasing innovative menu possibilities and signature dishes.
  • Actively identify and source prospective restaurant outlets to expand business reach and client portfolio.
  • Pursue new restaurant partnerships, persuading stakeholders to incorporate company products into their menus.
  • Collaborate with restaurant teams to co-create menu items featuring the company's ingredients.
  • Provide technical culinary support and menu engineering expertise during the onboarding process.
  • Negotiate product trials, special menu launches, and promotional deals with partnered restaurants.
  • Gather market intelligence—track emerging restaurant concepts, competitor offerings, and food trends.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations emphasizing cost benefits, unique flavors, and operational efficiencies of product lines.
  • Coordinate tastings, workshops, and culinary showcases tailored to restaurant clientele.
  • Maintain detailed records of contacts, pipeline, demos, and conversion progress for sales reporting.
  • Travel regularly to client sites and industry events as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-7 years as a chef in commercial kitchens or customer-facing culinary roles.
  • Strong business development skills with an ability to engage and influence restaurant stakeholders.
  • Experience in menu planning, culinary R&D, and food cost management.
  • Excellent persuasion, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Culinary degree/diploma or equivalent, plus proven presentation skills.
  • Highly proactive, energetic, and passionate about food trends and restaurant business growth.
  • Willing to travel locally/regionally for client visits and networking.
