Hotel Receptionist

Core duties
- Guest services: Greet guests warmly, check them in and out, issue room keys, and provide information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
- Reservations: Manage phone, online, and walk-in bookings, as well as cancellations and modifications.
- Guest relations: Address guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally, such as booking wake-up calls or arranging transportation.
- Financial transactions: Process payments, prepare invoices, and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Administrative tasks: Maintain accurate guest records, update hotel management software, answer and transfer phone calls, and handle incoming and outgoing mail.
Key responsibilities
- Check-in and check-out: Register guests, collect necessary information, verify identification and payment, and prepare bills upon departure.
- Communication: Act as the first point of contact by answering phones and forwarding calls to the correct departments or rooms.
- Problem-solving: Liaise with other hotel departments, like housekeeping, to ensure guest needs are met and to resolve any issues that arise.
- Desk management: Maintain an organized, clean, and presentable front desk area and ensure all necessary supplies are stocked.
- Sales and promotion: Inform guests about available services and amenities and may upsell additional facilities when appropriate.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹12, ₹15,000.00 per month
