Job Title: .NET Backend Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced .NET Backend Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in building scalable applications using the .NET ecosystem and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using .NET Core / .NET Framework.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend components.
  • Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless deployment.
  • Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with best coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making.
  • Integrate third-party services, APIs, and databases.
  • Maintain proper documentation for systems, processes, and code changes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience as a backend developer using .NET Core / .NET Framework.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Experience with RESTful API development, microservices architecture, and service-oriented design.
  • Solid understanding of SQL Server or other relational databases; experience writing complex queries and stored procedures.
  • Familiarity with Entity Framework / EF Core.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is preferred.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of asynchronous programming, caching mechanisms, and performance optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized applications.
  • Understanding of message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus).
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest).
