Simpalm is seeking a 
Senior QA Automation Engineer
 with strong experience in building and managing automation frameworks for one of our direct clients in the United States. This role demands a highly skilled and experienced QA professional with at least 
8+ years in QA automation
 and a deep understanding of test strategy, scripting, and framework architecture across web, mobile, and API layers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end QA automation activities, including designing and developing robust test automation frameworks.
  • Design and implement comprehensive test strategies in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Automate UI tests using tools like 
    Katalon, Selenium
    , or 
    TestNG
    .
  • Design and execute API and web services automation strategies.
  • Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks to ensure stability and scalability.
  • Perform defect investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Monitor and report test execution metrics, including feature and regression test runtimes.
  • Ensure quality processes are followed across all stages of development and deployment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of experience
     in QA automation (candidates with less experience 
    will not be considered
    ).
  • Deep expertise in software and database testing methodologies, including test data design and error replication.
  • Proficient in 
    web and mobile application testing
    .
  • Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as 
    Katalon, Selenium WebDriver
    , and 
    TestNG
    .
  • Strong programming skills in 
    Core Java, Advanced Java, JavaScript
    , and 
    TypeScript
    .
  • Familiarity with version control systems like 
    Git
     and CI/CD tools such as 
    Azure DevOps
    .
  • Experience with test management and bug tracking tools like 
    qTest
     and 
    JIRA
    .
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
