Objective of Role: To strategize, plan, direct and manage the operation of Manufacturing Units

Reporting To:- Director Technical

Functional Reporting: Director Technical

Education: B.E - Mechanical

Experience: 15 +yrs in process industries like Grains, Pulses, Spices, Soy, Sugar, Cement, Chemical or Steel plant

Role Description-

Responsibilities:Frequency

  • Ensuring a production plan for the month is in place and ensuring the plan is achieved

Daily

  • Responsible for developing a cost effective manpower planning chart ensuring optimization of resources for Production, RM Stores and Maintenance section

  • Maintaining the requirement of standards like HACCP, ISO22000, Kosher and BRC

Ongoing

  • Ensure effective methods and tools are utilized for continuous improvement of product & service quality

  • To proactively ensure development of second line leaders and empowerment, transparency in operations.

  • Ensure internal audits are conducted, and enhance capability development through trainings

  • Ensuring Up-dation and maintenance of SOP for production, Maintenance and stores

  • Ensure the hygiene & cleanliness of the plant

  • Ensure optimum utilization & performance of machinery and material while minimizing waste and machine delay.

  • To Initiate, plan, and develop processes and projects to define and implement quality assurance practices

  • Periodic maintenance of facilities and equipment; materials management

  • Responsible to ensure statutory compliance

  • As an Administrative head responsible for the safety and security of all the resources of the factory

  • To conduct Daily Meetings, Responsible for Factory MIS and responsible for MIS circulation and daily report circulation to top management

  • Eye on the expenses and careful scrutiny all the expense requests before approving

  • Ensuring the MIS about factory expenses and performance is highlighted to the management on regular basis

  • Software skills : Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Preferrable SAP or any other ERP
  • Communication skills: Written & Oral in English & Hindi
