Job Overview:

We are currently hiring Lead Engineer - Java with 6 – 9 years of experience to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining high-performance scalable Java applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing scalable and robust systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product outcomes.
  • Mentor engineers and foster a performance-first culture across teams.
  • Defines the right processes for the team's maturity level, balancing agility and discipline

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or related field.
  • 6 to 9 years of experience in software/performance engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures. Experience in AWS would be a plus.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation
  • Deep understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases like Postgres, Big Table/Dynamo/Cassandra, Redis.
  • Experience in Elasticsearch (or any other Lucene based search engines) would be a plus.
  • Experience in big data systems like Kafka, Spark, Flink would be preferable.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills in addition to experience mentoring and leading technical teams
