The Deputy IT Head supports the HOD in executing the IT strategy with a focus on operational discipline, project delivery, and cost optimization. This role oversees daily IT operations, manages IT managers across Infrastructure, Security, Software, and Support, and ensures smooth implementation of technology projects across all hospital units. Acts as the second line of command within the IT department, ensuring business continuity, technology alignment, and efficiency across the hospital network.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in IT/Computer Science or related field
  • 810 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a hospital IT management role.
  • Proven experience managing multi-location IT support and infrastructure teams.
  • Understanding of healthcare IT systems such as HIS, EMR, LIS, PACS, CRM, and hospital automation tools.
