Role & responsibilities

Candidate should be experienced in fabrication industry, Process Equipment , Reactors , Pressure Vessel, Dryer, heat exchanger.

SAP Knowledge is must.

Role & responsibilities

  1. Procurement & Purchase Operations

  2. Ensure timely release of Purchase Orders with engineering accuracy and adherence to quality requirements.

  3. Manage ordering processes (including JTR) to align with project and production needs.
  4. Lead negotiation and finalization of terms in line with planning sheets (Brahma report) and business goals.
  5. Monitor vendor delivery schedules to ensure timely availability of materials.

  6. Plan and manage payments as per agreed terms in coordination with the CEO and Finance.

  7. Inventory & Spares Management

  8. Ensure accurate ordering of spares with zero rejections.

  9. Monitor spares inventory to maintain optimum stock levels and avoid shortages.
  10. Ensure stores are well-maintained, easily accessible, and accurate in records.
  11. Reduce issue times and ensure smooth material flow from stores.

  12. Implement regular (fortnightly) updation of material folders and system data cleanup.

  13. Coordination & Collaboration

  14. Coordinate effectively with planning, production, and CRM teams to align procurement with operational needs.

  15. Ensure timely follow-up with internal teams and vendors for smooth material availability as per Calendor.

  16. Facilitate cross-functional communication to minimize delays and resolve bottlenecks.

  17. Leadership & Team Development

  18. Delegate tasks appropriately to subordinates and monitor execution efficiency.

  19. Mentor and develop a successor to ensure role continuity.

  20. Build team capability in supplier management, procurement accuracy, and store handling.

  21. Supplier Management & Development

  22. Conduct supplier assessment and evaluation on a half-yearly basis.

  23. Drive supplier development and engagement initiatives to strengthen long-term relationships.
  24. Identify and develop alternate sources of supply to ensure business continuity.
  25. Carry out timely vendor audits and performance reviews in line with company standards.
  26. Ensure reconciliation of supplier account statements on a quarterly basis.
