A Sales Executive at a Maruti dealer is responsible for achieving vehicle sales targets by finding and following up on leads, advising customers on vehicle needs, and guiding them through the sales process. Key duties include managing customer relationships, demonstrating products, handling negotiations and contracts, and maintaining sales records and CRM data. They are also involved in supporting sales-related activities like financing, accessories, and service. Key responsibilities

  • Lead generation and customer management: Find new sales opportunities, make sales calls, and manage customer relationships from initial contact to post-sale.
  • Sales and consultation: Understand customer needs, advise on suitable Maruti Suzuki vehicles and financing options, and explain product features and specifications.
  • Sales process management: Guide customers through the entire purchasing process, including test drives, handling objections, negotiating prices, and completing sales contracts.
  • Administrative and reporting: Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, track sales data, create monthly reports, and manage inventory and billing.
  • Support sales activities: Facilitate sales for additional products and services, such as M-Insurance, M-Finance, Maruti Genuine Accessories (MGA), and extended warranties.
  • Customer satisfaction: Ensure a smooth vehicle delivery process and resolve customer complaints to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Market and product knowledge: Stay up-to-date on vehicle specifications, market trends, and competitor activities.

Qualifications and skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
  • Customer-focused with a passion for providing exceptional service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Experience in a sales role, particularly field sales, is often required.
  • Familiarity with the local market is beneficial.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher
