Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & UAV Design Direction

Define and implement a UAV design strategy aligned with company mission in aerospace and defense.

Translate business and operational requirementssuch as surveillance, strike, or reconnaissanceinto user-focused UAV design solutions.

UAV capabilities span airframe, autopilot, payload integration, and GCS design, with combat-proven platforms like ALS-50, ALS-250, ALS-50MkII, and IVTOL

Team Leadership & Cross-functional Coordination

Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team covering electronics, mechanical, controls, software, and industrial design.

Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, quality, business, and client teams to execute UAV design projects successfully.

Technical Execution & UAV Systems Integration

Oversee schematic and PCB design using tools like ORCAD/Altium; handle component selection and codification for UAV electronics.

Ensure seamless system integrationincorporating communication protocols (UART, USB, Ethernet, I2C, SPI), sensors, autopilot systems, and payload interfaces.

Embed aerospace and defense complianceincluding ruggedization, EMI/EMC, flight safety into all design stages.

Prototype, Test & Iterate

Lead rapid prototyping and iterative UAV testing for both ground and flight validation, refining designs based on performance feedback.

Manage documentation lifecycle: configuration control, versioning, traceability, and change management.

Innovation & Brand Stewardship

Drive innovation in UAV designfocusing on autonomy, sensor integration, mission adaptability, energy efficiency, and minimal user burden.

Ensure all UAV design outputs reflect company brand identity and uphold quality excellence.
