Role & responsibilities


• Conduct pre- and post-sanction verification of loan applications to ensure authenticity of customer information and documents.

• Carry out field investigations and background checks to identify potential frauds or discrepancies in customer profiles.

• Coordinate with sales, credit, and operations teams to validate applicant details and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Analyze financial documents, KYC records, and customer data to detect inconsistencies or suspicious activity.

• Monitor high-risk cases and recommend necessary action to minimize credit and operational risks.

• Prepare investigation reports with factual findings and submit them to the Risk/Compliance Head for review.

• Handle vendor management related to field investigation agencies, including performance tracking and quality control.

• Ensure adherence to internal audit standards, risk management policies, and regulatory guidelines.

• Maintain accurate MIS and daily/weekly reports for RCU activities and outcomes.

• Train and guide team members or field investigators to ensure consistency and efficiency in verification processes.
